Chief Executive Officer

Richard Mulcahy is the AUSVEG CEO.

He is a former CEO of several major industry organisations and a past Director with the Wrigley Company based in Chicago USA.  Richard most recently held office as a Member of Parliament, including serving as Shadow Treasurer amongst other portfolios. He was Principal Personal Assistant to a former Victorian Premier and has also held appointments with the US and Canadian Governments.

Richard is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland in the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism.

Communications Manager

Hugh Tobin manages all vegetable and potato communication projects.

Hugh recently completed his Masters of Communications at RMIT University and in his previous role worked as Public Affairs Manager for a public policy think tank.

Financial Accounting and Administration Manager

Bush Ndiege manages all Financial Accounting and Administration matters pertaining to AUSVEG.

Bush has seven years of accounting experience and has previously worked as a Management Accountant for an International IT company, and as a Tax Accountant (Business Services).

He holds a Master Degree in Accounting and is an Associate Member of CPA Australia.

Editorial / Production Manager Potatoes Australia

David O'Neill is the Editorial/Production Manager of Vegetables Australia, a bi-monthly industry magazine.

David recently returned from London where he was the Editor of a weekly newspaper – The Australian Times.

 

Mignonne Rawson is the Editorial/Production Manager for Potatoes Australia, a bi-monthly magazine.

Mignonne recently completed a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT and was a print news journalist in her previous role. She also has a BSc Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne.
