The proportion of vegetable growers with earnings above $100,000 fell from 62% in 2006/07 to 51% in 2007/08.
The proportion of vegetable growers with earnings above $350,000 fell from 32% to 27% over the same period.
The proportion of growers with earnings below $50,000 rose from 23% in 2006/07 to 32% in 2007/08.
The proportion of growers with earnings below $100,000, which had fallen from 45% in 2005/06 to 38% in 2006/07, rose to 49% in 2007/08.
